Why choose Zielony Melanż?
• Exceptional Drought Resistance: A high share of meadow fescue and tall fescue ensures good growth and stable yield even during prolonged drought periods. Tall fescue, with a root system reaching up to 1.5 metres, tolerates dry spells very well. White clover Romena also withstands drought thanks to its extensively developed root system.
• High Economic Value: The mixture achieves a very high utility value number (LWU) of 9.0. According to Filipiak's classification (1973), LWU in the range of 8.1-10.0 indicates very good sward.
• Abundant Green Mass Yield: A significant share of tall-growing grasses provides a high yield of green mass.
• Highest Quality Feed: Zielony Melanż delivers feed rich in sugars and protein with a favourable amino acid composition, as well as increased energy content. This mixture is especially recommended for beef cattle and high-yielding dairy cows, intended for hay and silage production. White clover (Romena) provides delicate, protein-rich feed that does not cause bloating, enhances palatability, improves cows' appetite, and feed utilisation.
• Even Yield of Cuts: The mixture guarantees stable and even yields of successive cuts.
• Resistance and Durability: Varieties such as meadow fescue Zora are characterised by high dry and fresh mass yields and the best in vitro digestibility. Tall fescue Rahela stands out with rapid regrowth after cuts and high winter hardiness, ensuring persistence in the sward for 4-7 years. Perennial ryegrass Baronka tolerates multiple mowings, grazing, and trampling well, regrows quickly, and is resistant to snow mould and rust.
Sowing rate: 35-40 kg/ha. Usage type: Mowing.
Zielony Melanż is a comprehensive solution for modern agriculture, ensuring high-quality feed and resistance to changing climatic conditions.
