ASX Calcium Nitrate is a unique nitrogen-calcium fertiliser designed for the rapid supply of essential nutrients to plants, which have a key impact on their growth and yield. It is characterised by high purity and excellent solubility, ensuring safe and effective use without the risk of clogging drippers or sprayer nozzles.
High Content of Immediately Available Calcium
Moreover, the high content of immediately available calcium is crucial for the healthy development of the plant root system. It improves not only the appearance, flavour, firmness and post-harvest durability of fruits and vegetables but also reduces their susceptibility to fungal diseases and damage during transport. Additionally, this fertiliser positively affects the growing medium structure and stabilises pH in the root environment, which translates into even greater effectiveness of its action.
Granulated Fertiliser for Fertigation and Foliar Sprays
ASX Calcium Nitrate is not only a simple and consistent macronutrient fertiliser but also a high-quality product tailored to the needs of modern crops. Its granulated form makes it easy to apply both in fertigation and foliar sprays. This allows farmers to be confident that their plants receive comprehensive and effective support, resulting in healthier yields and better crop quality.
Fertiliser Safe for Humans and Animals
The absence of heavy metals and phytotoxic substances makes ASX Calcium Nitrate a guarantee of safety for both plants and humans. Its positive effect on yield size is undeniable – thanks to the fast-acting form of nitrogen, plants absorb the essential nutrients immediately after application.
ASX Calcium Nitrate - composition and physicochemical properties:
Composition:
- total nitrogen (N) (15.5%) – including:
- nitrate nitrogen (14.5%),
- ammonium nitrogen (1.0%); - water-soluble calcium oxide (CaO) (26.5%)
Properties:
- Solubility at 20°C – 1200 g/l water;
- Solubility – 99.9% EC (1 g/l at 25°C) – 1.2 mS/cm;
- Granulometry: 90% of granules in the product are sized 2.0–4.5 mm;
- pH (10% solution) – 6.0.
ASX Calcium Nitrate - application guidelines:
- Use only when justified. Do not exceed the dose.
- Concentrated solutions (concentrates) are prepared when using fertiliser dispensers or other devices allowing dilution of concentrated solutions in a specified ratio to water (usually 1:100). To prepare the concentrate, pour 750 litres of 25°C water into a 1000-litre tank, then gradually add 50 to 150 kg of fertiliser. After complete dissolution, top up the solution with water to a volume of 1000 litres. Dilution of the prepared solution at a ratio of 1:100 allows obtaining a ready-to-use nutrient solution with a concentration of 0.05-0.15%.
