Description
MODE OF ACTION OF BACTIM STRAW:
The preparation works by introducing selected strains of Bacillus spp. bacteria into the soil, which exhibit strong cellulolytic properties. These microorganisms quickly and effectively break down straw and other post-harvest residues, transforming them into humus and nutrients easily absorbed by subsequent plants. This mechanism leads to improvement of soil structure and increased microbiological activity.
Advantages of using BACTIM STRAW:
- Release of nutrients: Releases nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium contained in post-harvest residues, making them available to plants.
- Increase in humus content: Converts organic matter into valuable humus, improving soil fertility.
- Reduction of infection potential: Rapid decomposition of residues removes the food base for pathogens, reducing the risk of diseases (especially in cereals).
- Better water retention: Improved soil structure enhances water holding capacity.
- Increase in microbiological activity: Revitalises biological life in soil exhausted by monocultures.
BACTIM STRAW CONTENT OF INGREDIENTS:
Bacteria of the genus Bacillus spp. – min. 5 x 108 cfu/ml
Zinc (Zn) – min. 0.007% (w/w)
Iron (Fe) – min. 0.007% (w/w)
BACTIM STRAW SCOPE OF USE, TIMING AND DOSES:
How to use BACTIM STRAW:
Post-harvest residues (Cereals, Maize, Oilseed rape and others)
Use on straw, stubble, catch crops and organic fertilisers (manure, compost).
Recommended dose (without nitrogen addition): 2.0 l/ha
Recommended dose (when applied together with nitrogen): 1.0 l/ha
Application timing: After crop harvest, before post-harvest tillage.
Recommended water volume: 300 – 400 l/ha.
Method of application: Medium droplet spray.
Note: It is advisable to shred residues before spraying. After spraying, mix residues shallowly with the soil. Avoid treatment during strong sunlight (best applied in the evening).
Important: Combined use of the product with plant protection products (fungicides, insecticides, etc.) is not recommended.
