Description
ACTION OF BEHEMOT 500 SC:
Behemot 500 SC is a selective herbicide in the form of a concentrated suspension (SC), intended for autumn control of mono- and dicotyledonous weeds in winter cereals. The key active ingredient is diflufenican, which provides contact action and, to a lesser extent, soil action.
The product is absorbed through the leaves, and to a small extent through the roots of weeds. Its effect is manifested by the fact that germinating or emerging weeds, after contact with the product, show characteristic discolorations – white, yellow or pink spots appear on them. These discolorations gradually enlarge, inevitably leading to weed death. Optimal soil moisture is crucial for the full effectiveness of the product's soil action. The best results are achieved by applying the product at the earliest growth stages of weeds, i.e. during germination or just after emergence, at the seedling stage.
Advantages of using Behemot 500 SC:
-Multidirectional action: Controls weeds through foliar contact and soil action.
-Wide autumn application: Intended for use in winter wheat, winter triticale and winter rye.
-High efficacy on early weeds: Best herbicidal effect is achieved on weeds at the seedling stage.
-Effective on troublesome weeds: Controls, among others, field pansy, Persian speedwell, shepherd's purse and blackgrass.
-No pre-harvest interval: No waiting period is required between last application and harvest.
