Carrot Bastia F1 is a mid-early Dutch variety created with processing and demanding producers in mind. It produces roots with a slightly conical shape, smooth skin and intense colour, ideal for juices, salads and frozen products.
The variety is distinguished by a high dry matter content (11.2%), a long vegetation period (124 days) and the possibility of long storage. It has natural resistance to diseases such as alternaria leaf spot, downy mildew and Cercospora, which facilitates cultivation and ensures stable yields.
