Carrot Blanes F1 is a mid-early Dutch variety of the Berlikumer type, created for industrial cultivation. It produces cylindrical, firm roots with a high dry matter content (10.8%) and exceptional durability, making them suitable for salad production, juices and freezing.

The variety is characterised by a high commercial yield and healthy, disease-resistant leaf growth, which facilitates cultivation under more challenging conditions. It is resistant to alternaria leaf spot (Ad), downy mildew (Ar) and Cercospora (Cc), and the seeds ensure uniform emergence at a sowing rate of 0.7–1.2 million/ha.

Blanes F1 performs well on various soil types, and its roots stand out with intense colour, durability and good flavour, increasing flexibility in sales and processing.
