CARROT ROMANCE - VARIETY FEATURES:

intended use: fresh market, storage

Carrot Romance is a mid-early fresh market variety recommended for harvest in September and October. It is characterised by a high net yield and uniform, straight roots with a cylindrical, blunt-ended shape. The roots are smooth, resistant to cracking and breaking, which facilitates washing, polishing and bunch packing.

The plant has strong, upright and dark green tops, well attached to the root, allowing mechanical harvesting. The variety is versatile in terms of sowing time and is suitable both for cold storage and short-term storage in the soil with late sowings.

The carrot shows medium resistance to Alternaria dauci and powdery mildew.
