Description

DRAGSTER PAK ACTION:

Dragster Pak is a specially composed set of two herbicides: Dragster and Diablo 306 SE. It is a solution intended for post-emergence control of a wide spectrum of monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds occurring in maize crops, including those difficult to control. The unique product formula is based on a combination of four active substances, including rimsulfuron, thifensulfuron-methyl, florasulam and 2,4-D 2-EHE. Furthermore, the product is rainfast just two hours after application.

The 1.5 ha package contains:

- Diablo 306 SE 0.5l

- Dragster 0.2 kg

Advantages of using Dragster Pak:

- Effectiveness: thanks to its unique composition, it effectively eliminates both monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds.

- Wide application window: Can be used over a wide range of maize growth stages, from 2 to 6 leaves (BBCH 12-16).

- Advanced formula: Contains 4 active substances with different modes of action.

- Control of difficult weeds: Effectively manages hard-to-control weeds such as Echinochloa crus-galli, Alopecurus myosuroides, couch grass, Chenopodium album, Galinsoga parviflora, Amaranthus retroflexus and Polygonum convolvulus.

- Rainfastness: Shows resistance to wash-off by rain already 2 hours after application.

- Economical solution: Available as a ready-to-use solution at a favourable price, in a 2 ha set.

ACTION OF DIABLO 306 SE:

Diablo 306 SE is a herbicide in the form of a suspension concentrate of solid particles and microcapsules for dilution with water. The product is intended for the control of annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds in winter and spring cereals as well as maize. Diablo has systemic action and is applied foliarly: the active substance is absorbed through the leaves and then rapidly translocated throughout the plant causing deformation and growth inhibition, ultimately leading to the death of the entire weed.

Under low temperature conditions (approx. 5 degrees C), complete weed destruction occurs within about 3 weeks, while warm and humid weather accelerates the herbicidal effect.

DIABLO 306 SE ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:

florasulam (a triazolopyrimidine group substance) - 6.25 g/l (0.58%)

2,4-D (a phenoxy acid group substance) - 300 g/l (28.06%)

DIABLO 306 SE SCOPE OF USE, TIMING AND DOSES:

The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.

Diablo 306 SE effect on weeds:

Sensitive weeds: cornflower, field mustard, common chickweed, red dead-nettle, lamb's quarters, corn poppy, Galinsoga parviflora, field forget-me-not, cleavers (up to 7-8 whorls), black nightshade, knotweed, bindweed, chamomile, volunteer oilseed rape, shepherd's purse, rough amaranth, common shepherd's purse, field pennycress.

Moderately sensitive weeds: field pansy, fumitory, field thistle, ivy-leaved speedwell, cleavers (from 9 whorls).

Moderately resistant weeds: purple dead-nettle.

Resistant weeds: marsh woundwort, common yarrow, monocotyledonous weeds.

DRAGSTER ACTION:

Dragster is a selective herbicide with systemic action intended for weed control in maize crops. The product is conveniently formulated as granules for preparing a water suspension. It is applied foliarly - active substances are mainly absorbed through the leaves and additionally through the roots. The effect of the product appears shortly after application, initially through gradual discolouration of weeds. Their death occurs within 10-25 days after treatment. The product shows highest effectiveness against young, actively growing dicotyledonous weeds (at 2-4 leaf stage) and monocotyledonous weeds (at 3-5 leaf stage).

DRAGSTER ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:

rimsulfuron (a sulfonylurea derivative) – 148.15 g/kg (14.82%)

thifensulfuron-methyl (a sulfonylurea derivative) – 92.6 g/kg (9.26%)

DRAGSTER SCOPE OF USE, TIMING AND DOSES:

The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.

Dragster effect on weeds:

Single application

Sensitive weeds: Echinochloa crus-galli, common chickweed, lamb's quarters, Galinsoga parviflora, Polygonum convolvulus, rough amaranth.

Moderately sensitive weeds: Persian speedwell

Split dose application

Sensitive weeds: Echinochloa crus-galli, common chickweed, lamb's quarters, Galinsoga parviflora, Polygonum convolvulus, rough amaranth,

Moderately sensitive weeds: Persian speedwell

How to use Dragster:

Use the product only in mixture with an adjuvant. It is recommended to use with a non-ionic surfactant (e.g. Vivolt at 0.2% concentration) or with methyl esters of vegetable oils (at doses recommended by manufacturers).

Maize
