Focus Entomological Glue – Effective protection against pests

  • Natural protective barrier
  • Effective control of crawling and flying insects
  • Long-lasting protection – does not dry out
  • Weather resistant (sun and rain)
  • Easy application – ready to use

Focus entomological glue is a reliable solution for those caring for their gardens, orchards and green areas. It creates a physical barrier on tree trunks, effectively preventing pest movement such as ants, caterpillars, aphids and other crawling insects. It can also be used in utility rooms, warehouses and on terraces to protect against household insects.

Which pests does it control?

  • Ants, aphids, caterpillars, beetles, moths, fungus gnats – crawling insects attacking trees and plants.
  • Flies, moths, silverfish, spiders – household pests that may appear indoors and in gardens.

Versatile applications:

  • In gardens, orchards and forest nurseries – to protect fruit trees, ornamental plants and forest trees.
  • In utility rooms, warehouses and on terraces – to secure areas prone to insect presence.
  • In parks and green areas – effective protection against pests damaging trees.

How to use the glue?

  • Tree protection – apply glue with a brush or roller on the tree trunk. Ideally about 15 cm above ground level, in a band approximately 10 cm wide. The barrier will stop insects climbing up the tree.
  • Insect traps – apply glue on plastic sheets, varnished paper or other non-absorbent surfaces and place near insect habitats.
  • Support protection – it is also worth coating wooden stakes and other supports with glue to prevent insects from reaching the tree.

Making traps yourself.

Yellow colour effectively attracts troublesome insects feeding on potted plants, flowerbeds and greenhouse plants.

White colour is attractive to many harmful insects, including fruit flies whose larvae feed on apple and plum tree fruitlets, and raspberry cane midge whose larvae cause raspberry worm damage.

Blue colour is attractive for catching thrips, fungus gnats, and to a lesser extent: whiteflies, leafminers, aphids.

Benefits of using entomological glue

✔ Safe for plants – contains no insecticidal substances, so it can be applied directly on tree bark.

✔ Ecological alternative – helps reduce pesticide use, minimising environmental impact.

✔ Long-lasting effectiveness – does not dry out, retains adhesive properties even in variable weather conditions.

✔ Easy to use – simple application without the need for specialised equipment.
