ACTION OF MONSOON ACTIVE :

Monsoon Active is a selective systemic herbicide that effectively controls monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds in maize cultivation. The product is intended for foliar application and is in the form of an oil suspension for dilution with water.

The preparation contains a combination of two active substances: sodium foramsulfuron and methyl tiencarbazone. Both belong to the group of acetolactate synthase (ALS) inhibitors, which means they effectively block weed development by inhibiting protein synthesis. Sodium foramsulfuron acts through the leaves, while methyl tiencarbazone penetrates both through roots and leaves, providing comprehensive action.

Monsoon Active should be applied after mass weed emergence, when most are at the seedling to 2-5 leaf BBCH growth stage.

MONSOON ACTIVE ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:

Sodium foramsulfuron (substance from the sulfonylurea derivatives group) - 31.5 g/l (3.21 %)

methyl tiencarbazone (substance from the triazolinone group) - 10 g/l (1.02%)

MONSOON ACTIVE SCOPE OF USE, APPLICATION TIMING AND DOSES:

The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.

Monsoon Active - effect on weeds:

Single application:

Sensitive weeds: Setaria glauca, field violet, white goosefoot, cleavers, polygonum persicaria, bindweed knotweed, chamomile, volunteer oilseed rape, shepherd's purse,

Moderately sensitive weeds: common fumitory, Persian speedwell

Split doses:

How to apply Monsoon Active:

Maize

a) Single application

Application timing: Apply the product after maize emergence, from the 2 to 6 true leaf BBCH growth stage (BBCH 12 -16). The timing of the treatment depends on the growth stage of the weed species present in the field.

Maximum / recommended dose for single application: 1.5 l/ha.

Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.

Recommended water volume: 200-400 l/ha

Recommended spraying: medium droplet size.

b) Split doses

First treatment

Application timing: apply the product at the 2 true leaf stage of maize.

Maximum / recommended dose for single application: 0.75 l/ha.

Second treatment

Application timing: apply the product up to the 6 true leaf stage of maize.

Maximum / recommended dose for single application: 0.75 l/ha.

Number of treatments: 2

Interval between treatments: 7 – 14 days.

Recommended water volume: 200-400 l/ha

Recommended spraying: medium droplet size
