Description

NITROMAG is a liquid fertiliser with a high concentration of nitrogen (370 g N per 1 litre), enriched with magnesium and micronutrients. Used in foliar feeding treatments, it quickly supplies plants with nitrogen and other nutrients. NITROMAG can also be applied as a soil fertiliser during irrigation – fertigation of crops in soil and organic growing media (coconut, peat substrates and others).

NITROMAG used prophylactically is an effective source of nitrogen during periods of increased plant nitrogen demand. The fertiliser is recommended in cases of soil conditions limiting the availability of this nutrient to plants (low moisture, low temperature, very light and light soils, on sites where crop residues have been left).
When applied at timings and doses recommended in fertilisation programmes for specific crops, it effectively supplements and/or corrects soil fertilisation. It supplies nitrogen, magnesium and micronutrients in forms easily absorbed by plants during phases of highest demand for these nutrients.

Intervention feeding is advisable in case of poor plant growth, visual symptoms of nitrogen deficiency on plants, or when plant tissue analysis results indicate too low nitrogen content (hidden deficiencies).

Nitrogen is a fundamental yield-forming element. Supplied in NITROMAG fertiliser, it positively affects yield quantity and quality by:

  • intensifying the growth of above-ground biomass and root system
  • increasing chlorophyll content and enhancing photosynthesis
  • ensuring proper plant growth and development
  • intensifying tillering of cereals
  • promoting growth of yield-forming organs (grains, seeds, fruits, tubers, etc.)
  • regenerating damage caused by stress factors
  • increasing content of protein, sugars, carotenoids and vitamins B1 and B2.

1. FOLIAR FEEDING
For foliar feeding treatments, use NITROMAG as an aqueous solution. The fertiliser can be applied together with other products after conducting a compatibility test.

2. FERTIGATION OF CROPS IN SOIL AND ORGANIC GROWING MEDIA (coconut, peat substrates and others).

NITROMAG can be used to prepare nutrient solutions for fertigation of crops in soil. The use of NITROMAG fertiliser is recommended in early stages of plant development and during periods of intensive growth.

Nutrient content in the solution must always be adjusted to individual fertilisation recommendations.
NITROMAG fertiliser solutions should be prepared in a tank separate from calcium fertiliser solutions.

The most commonly used concentration of fertilisers in ready-to-use nutrient solution is in the range of 0.03–0.2% (0.3–2 litres of fertiliser per 1000 l of solution).
Application frequency should be adjusted to current plant nutrient requirements and growing conditions.
