Nomad 75 WG (pyroxasulfone) + Dassoil Corteva - herbicide and adjuvant set
The Nomad 75 WG herbicide and Dassoil adjuvant set is designed for the control of monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds in winter wheat, winter triticale and winter rye crops.
Description
Nomad 75 WG herbicide + Dassoil adjuvant set
- The Nomad 75 WG herbicide should be used with an adjuvant.
- Effectively controls dicotyledonous weeds and monocotyledonous weeds.
- Dedicated action - for use in arable crops: winter wheat, winter triticale, winter rye.
- Acts quickly.
- In a convenient and efficient concentrated suspension form for dilution with water.
Nomad 75 WG is a granule herbicide for preparing a water suspension, applied foliarly, intended for spring post-emergence control of monocotyledonous weeds and some dicotyledonous weeds.
The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.
Nomad 75 WG Corteva - mode of action:
Nomad 75 WG is a selective systemic herbicide absorbed through weed leaves and rapidly translocated throughout the plant. It inhibits enzyme activity during amino acid synthesis. Ultimately, this results in the cessation of amino acid synthesis in weed plants.
Visible symptoms appear after a few days. Symptoms first appear in the upper parts of weeds as chlorosis (yellowing) leading to necrosis, growth inhibition and eventually weed death. The upper leaves take on a wilted appearance. This effect then spreads throughout the plant.
Complete drying and death of plants under ideal growth conditions occurs after 2-3 weeks. When weed metabolic processes are slowed due to less favourable conditions, e.g. lower air temperatures, the full herbicidal effect may appear only after 6-9 weeks.
The product controls weeds when the minimum daily temperature during the 6 days after application is above 5ºC.
The product most effectively destroys sensitive dicotyledonous weeds at the 2-6 leaf stage (rosettes), ryegrass and blackgrass up to the beginning of tillering, and barren brome up to the end of tillering.
Nomad 75 WG Corteva - active substance content:
- Pyroxasulfone (a compound from the triazolopyrimidine group) – 75 g/kg (7.5%).
Nomad 75 WG is a herbicide containing the active substance pyroxasulfone from the triazolopyrimidine group (HRAC group B) with a mode of action based on inhibition of amino acid synthesis (ALS/AHAS mechanism) and there is a risk of resistance development in barren brome, ryegrass, and dicotyledonous weeds.
Nomad 75 WG Corteva - controlled weeds - dose 100-120 g/ha:
Sensitive weeds:
- common chickweed,
- corn chamomile,
- barren brome,
- ivy-leaved speedwell,
- Persian speedwell,
- corn chamomile,
- volunteer oilseed rape,
- shepherd's purse.
Moderately sensitive weeds:
- small cranesbill,
- field violet,
- red dead-nettle,
- corn poppy,
- field forget-me-not,
- cleavers.
Resistant weeds:
- cornflower.
Nomad 75 WG Corteva - controlled weeds - dose 250 g/ha:
Sensitive weeds:
- ryegrass,
- perennial ryegrass.
Nomad 75 WG Corteva herbicide - crop uses:
Arable crops:
- Winter wheat,
- Winter triticale,
- Winter rye.
Nomad 75 WG Corteva herbicide - pre-harvest interval and withholding period:
Pre-harvest interval - period from last application to crop harvest:
- 60 days (the pre-harvest interval is within the growing season).
Withholding period - period from application until people and animals can enter the treated area:
- Do not enter until the spray liquid has completely dried on the plant surfaces.
Period from last application to sowing or planting of succeeding crops:
- 42 days, taking crop rotation into account.
Nomad 75 WG Corteva herbicide - crop rotation:
If the treated crop is ploughed in early (due to frost damage, disease or pests), cereals or maize may be grown on the field no earlier than 6 weeks after application and after ploughing to a depth of at least 15 cm. After harvesting the crop, in the autumn of the same year or spring of the following calendar year, the following crops may be grown: cereals, maize, perennial ryegrass, sugar beet, mustard, potatoes, sunflower, common bean, field pea, crimson clover, winter and spring oilseed rape. In subsequent years, all crops may be grown.
Nomad 75 WG Corteva herbicide - preparation of spray liquid:
Before preparing the spray liquid, determine the required amount precisely. Rinse empty containers three times with water and pour the rinsate into the sprayer tank with the spray liquid. When using the product in mixtures with other products, strictly follow the preparation instructions for those products. If spraying is interrupted, thoroughly mix the spray liquid in the sprayer tank before resuming work.
Nomad 75 WG Corteva plant protection product - usage instructions:
- Use the product only with a tested and approved adjuvant (supporting agent): e.g. Atpolan Bio 80 EC at 1 l/ha or Olstick 90 EC at 1 l/ha.
- Use a dose of 120 g/ha to control barren brome and dicotyledonous weeds in heavily infested crops and on more advanced weeds.
- Use a dose of 250 g/ha to control ryegrass and perennial ryegrass.
- Do not use with foliar nitrogen fertilisers.
- Observe a 7-day interval between Nomad 75 WG application and foliar nitrogen fertiliser application.
- Under adverse weather conditions (e.g. frost, large temperature fluctuations between night and day), temporary discolouration and growth inhibition may occur on crops, which do not affect yield.
- The product penetrates the plant within 1 hour of application. Rainfall after this period does not reduce efficacy.
- Do not apply the product:
− to wet, weakened or damaged plants due to pests, diseases, flooding or frost;
− in cereals with legume and/or grass undersowing;
− when the minimum temperature on the day of treatment and for 6 following days is 5ºC or lower;
− at air temperatures below 5ºC or above 25ºC;
− during excessive drought;
− after night frosts and before expected frosts. - During application, avoid:
− spray drift onto neighbouring crops;
− overlapping spray liquid on the edges of treatment strips and headlands. - Keep out of reach of children.
- Store the plant protection product:
− in original packaging,
− to prevent contact with food, beverages or feed, environmental contamination and access by unauthorised persons,
− at temperatures between 0ºC and 30ºC.
