Onion Wenta

Onion Wenta - The first Polish variety of onion with red skin, mid-late, high-yielding, comparable in yield to the Dutch variety Red Baron. It is characterised by good yield structure and uniform green shoot bending. Large onions, with an average weight of 90–100 g, slightly flattened to spherical shape, thin neck. Flesh is firm, juicy, violet-white. It stands out for its high vitamin C content and mild flavour. The dry skin is dark red, well adhering. This onion can be stored until June, showing no tendency to sprout green shoots. Suitable for cultivation from sets.
