Description
OPAL 500 SC ACTION :
Opal 500 SC is a selective herbicide with systemic action. The product is intended for foliar application - the active substance is mainly absorbed through the roots and leaves of weeds. The agent disrupts photosynthesis, and the effects of its action become visible after several days. Initially, the action manifests as chlorosis developing from the leaf veins, gradually spreading over the entire leaf. In the next stage, plant growth and development are inhibited, and necroses become visible at the tips of the leaf blades.
The product most effectively destroys blackgrass at the 2-4 leaf stage, and dicotyledonous weeds at the 2-6 leaf stage.
The product is a concentrate in the form of a suspension concentrate for dilution with water (SC).
