Description
MODE OF ACTION OF RUMEZO 200 SE:
RUMEZO 200 SE is a herbicide with rapid systemic action, primarily absorbed through the leaves and additionally through the roots of weeds. This solution allows the active substance to be quickly transported to growth points, where it inhibits the plant's vital processes. The mode of action is based on blocking carotenoid synthesis, leading to visible bleaching of weed leaves and their complete death.
The effects of the product are noticeable within 5-7 days, and full weed elimination occurs after about two weeks. RUMEZO 200 SE ensures a comfortable start for maize by eliminating competition for water and light, and its action is safe for the crop due to the high selectivity of mesotrione.
CONTENT OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES:
mesotrione (a compound from the triketone group) - 200 g/l (18.69%)
Advantages of using RUMEZO 200 SE:
- Effective chlorophyll elimination: A unique mode of action causing bleaching and rapid death of weeds.
- Dual uptake pathway: Activity through leaves and roots ensures stable efficacy even under variable conditions.
- Long application window: Treatment can be applied up to the 8-leaf stage of maize (BBCH 18).
- High selectivity: Maximum safety for maize without risk of growth inhibition.
Pre-harvest interval:
- Maize - not required (due to early application timing)
