How to use Solider

Solider is a selective herbicide with systemic action, applied foliarly as an oil suspension to be diluted with water.

The product belongs to the group of acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme inhibitors, which causes blocking of the biosynthesis of amino acids essential for proper plant functioning. The first sign of its action is the inhibition of cell division in the shoot and root growth tips, resulting in the cessation of weed growth and development. Within a few days after application, symptoms such as chlorosis, yellowing, necrosis, and later browning of leaves of sensitive weeds appear.

The product exhibits active selectivity, meaning sugar beet has the ability to degrade the preparation into inactive compounds.

It is most effective on vigorously growing weeds from emergence to the beginning of the two true leaves stage.

The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.

Effect on weeds:

Using the product alone:

sensitive weeds	field pansy, cleavers, rough pigweed.
moderately sensitive weeds	white goosefoot, scentless mayweed, common chickweed, oilseed rape volunteers, shepherd's purse.
resistant weeds	one-sided foxtail, bindweed knotweed, bird's knotweed.

Using the product in a tank mix with the adjuvant Asystent+:

Application of a 3-treatment programme:

sensitive weeds	field pansy, common chickweed, white goosefoot, rough pigweed.
moderately sensitive weeds	scentless mayweed, cleavers, oilseed rape volunteers
resistant weeds	bindweed knotweed, bird's knotweed, shepherd's purse

Application of a 4-treatment programme:

Sugar beet

Application timing: apply the product from the visible first true leaf stage of sugar beet until complete canopy closure (BBCH 10-39).

a) using the product alone:

Maximum / recommended dose for single application: 0.13 l/ha.

Number of treatments: 3.

Interval between treatments: 5-10 days.

b) using the product in a tank mix with an adjuvant:

Maximum / recommended dose for single application: 0.1 l/ha.

SOLIDER (0.1 l/ha) + adjuvant Asystent+ (0.1 l/ha)

Number of treatments: 3.

Interval between treatments: 5-10 days.
