Weed control agent Naturen Antychwast Total Hobby Spray Substral - mode of action:

The herbicide Substral Naturen Antychwast Total Hobby Spray is intended for foliar application. It destroys the green, above-ground parts of plants that come into direct contact with the product. In sprayed plants, cell membranes are destroyed and dehydration occurs, followed by growth inhibition, deformation and death. The product is most effective against weeds in early developmental stages (not taller than 10 cm), under conditions favourable for intensive growth. The product works under various weather conditions, but best results are obtained when applied on warm and sunny days. Under favourable conditions, first symptoms of product action (necrosis on green parts of plants) are visible already 2-3 hours after treatment.

The product does not have a long-term effect, i.e. weeds may reappear. Therefore, repeated applications may be necessary to control weeds in later developmental stages, newly germinated weeds, or if only partial control was achieved and regrowth occurred.

Herbicide Substral Naturen Antychwast Total Hobby Spray - composition:

  • pelargonic acid (a compound from the carboxylic acids group) - 43g/l.
