Description

Orkan 350 SL Synthos Agro - herbicide for use in orchard crops

Benefits of using the Orkan herbicide:

  • Controls both monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds,
  • Dedicated action - plant protection product for use in orchard crops,
  • Contains two active substances - MCPA and glyphosate - for even greater effectiveness,
  • Controls many weed species with deep rooting, including couch grass and field horsetail.

Orkan 350 SL is a non-selective systemic herbicide. It is available as a liquid for preparing an aqueous solution (SL). For foliar application to control annual and perennial monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds in pome and stone fruit orchards.

Active substance content - Orkan 350 SL Synthos Agro:

  • MCPA (a compound from the phenoxy acid group) - 90 g/l (7.87%),
  • Glyphosate (a compound from the aminophosphonic acid group) - 260 g/l (22.75%).

Orkan herbicide for weed control in orchard crops - mode of action:

Orkan contains two active substances. Glyphosate inhibits the synthesis of proteins essential for plant growth. MCPA inhibits the action of plant hormones responsible for cell division, resulting in leaf and stem deformation, growth inhibition, stunting, followed by chlorosis, necrosis, and plant drying. Orkan 350 SL is absorbed through the leaves and then quickly translocated to the roots of weeds. It is most effective when applied during the period of intensive weed growth. The first symptoms of herbicide action on weeds appear 7-14 days after treatment. Weed death occurs after about 30 days. High temperature and humidity as well as strong sunlight accelerate the herbicide's action.
