Orsorosso F1 is a mid-early, determinate tomato intended for industrial cultivation, performing excellently both in the double-row system and mechanical harvesting. The plants are characterised by strong vigour combined with a compact habit and short internodes, which facilitates crop management.
The variety provides a high and stable yield, with fruits weighing 60–80 g that are uniform, slightly elongated, two-chambered, with thick walls and very good field durability. Thanks to their firm structure and easy detachment from the peduncle, they are ideal for mechanical harvesting.
The recommended planting density is 25,000 plants per hectare.
Orsorosso F1 has high disease resistance (HR: Va:0, Fol:0,1, Pst; IR: Ma, Mi, Mj, TSWV:TO) and shows high tolerance to blossom-end rot.
