Description
CABBAGE MAGNUS CRESCO F1 - VARIETY CHARACTERISTICS
Cabbage Magnus Cresco F1 is one of the earliest varieties of white cabbage, intended for planting in polytunnels and under flat covers. The growing period is 53–58 days, making it an excellent choice for very early harvests.
Heads
The variety forms perfectly round heads weighing 1.5–1.8 kg, set high on the stem, which prevents rot from the bottom. The outer leaves are durable and protect the head well, ensuring a longer freshness effect after harvest. A distinctive feature of the variety is the attractive, bright green colour of the leaves, enhancing its commercial value.
Cultivation features
Magnus Cresco F1 shows strong vigour from the seedling stage, which helps it withstand stressful growing conditions well. The recommended planting density is 50,000–60,000 pcs/ha.
Use
The variety is especially suitable for crops aimed at very early fresh market sales, where fast growth rate and attractive head appearance are important.
