Description
MODE OF ACTION OF WIGOR S FERTILISER:
Wigor S supplies sulphur in elemental form, which is converted by soil microorganisms into the sulphate form, directly available to plants. Sulphur is a key component essential for the synthesis of proteins and amino acids (methionine and cystine). Its presence is a necessary condition for the proper uptake and utilisation of nitrogen – in the absence of sufficient sulphur, nitrogen remains unused, which reduces yield and worsens its quality. Wigor S increases plant resistance to fungal diseases, pests, and environmental stresses, and in oilseed crops directly influences the increase of oil content in seeds.
Benefits of using Wigor S fertiliser:
- Extreme concentration: 90% sulphur content allows for the use of small doses per hectare.
- Optimisation of nitrogen fertilisation: Enables plants to fully utilise nitrogen, reducing cultivation costs and fertiliser losses.
- Improvement of technological quality: Increases protein content in cereals, sugar in sugar beet, and oil in oilseed rape.
- Long-lasting effect: Gradual release of plant-available forms limits the risk of sulphur leaching deep into the soil profile.
- Support for resistance: Sulphur naturally reduces pressure from certain pathogenic pathogens.
WIGOR S COMPOSITION AND APPLICATION:
The fertiliser meets European standards (CE) as a simple solid inorganic macronutrient fertiliser.
Total sulphur (S) (elemental): 90.0%
Main application: Sulphur-loving plants (oilseed rape, cabbage family, legumes) as well as cereals and sugar beet grown on soils deficient in sulphur.
APPROXIMATE FERTILISER DOSES [kg/ha]:
| Crop | Dose [kg/ha] | Crop | Dose [kg/ha] |
|---|---|---|---|
| Winter oilseed rape | 20 – 40 | Sugar beet | 30 – 35 |
| Cabbage family plants | 10 – 40 | Tomatoes | 10 – 30 |
| Wheat / Maize | 15 – 20 | Red beetroot | 10 – 30 |
| Radish | 35 – 40 | Alfalfa / Pea | 15 – 20 |
| Barley / Onion family | 10 – 15 | Beans | 5 – 10 |
Application guidelines: For winter crops, apply fertiliser before seedbed ploughing. For spring crops, application before winter or spring ploughing is recommended. In other cultivation systems, the fertiliser should be mixed with soil to a depth of up to 15 cm. In legume crops, apply in early spring before the start of vegetation.
