Description
ACTION OF BEFLEX 500 SC:
BeFlex 500 SC is a selective systemic herbicide in the form of a concentrated suspension concentrate (SC), intended for soil and foliar control of blackgrass and annual dicotyledonous weeds in the cultivation of winter wheat and winter barley.
The active substance, beflubutamid (a compound from the amide group), is mainly absorbed through the roots of emerging weeds, and partially also through their leaves. In the plant, it acts by inhibiting carotenoid synthesis and blocking electron flow in the photosynthesis process. This dual mechanism leads to tissue damage in weeds, their bleaching, and eventual death. The efficacy of the product is independent of temperature (except for the inadvisable use above 25 ∘ C).

The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.
BeFlex 500 SC – Effect on weeds (at a dose of 0.5 l/ha):
At a dose of 0.25 l/ha:
Sensitive weeds: common chickweed, field pansy, purple dead-nettle, white goosefoot, oilseed rape volunteers, shepherd's purse.
Moderately sensitive weeds: blackgrass, Persian speedwell.
At a dose of 0.5 l/ha:
Sensitive weeds: common chickweed, field pansy, purple dead-nettle, white goosefoot, blackgrass, Persian speedwell, oilseed rape volunteers, shepherd's purse.
BeFlex 500 SC – Dosage:
Winter wheat, Winter barley:
Maximum dose for single application: 0.5 l/ha.
Recommended dose for single application: 0.25−0.5 l/ha.
Application timing: autumn, from the tillering stage to visible 5th tiller (BBCH 10-25).
Recommended water volume: 200−400 l/ha.
Recommended spraying: medium droplet size.
Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.
