Description

BROS trap with signal flag for moles

Effective and easy-to-use trap for catching moles and voles. Allows you to catch the pest in its underground tunnel, and a special flag signals its capture.

Instructions for use:

  1. Carefully uncover a section of the underground tunnel used by moles or voles.
  2. Insert the trap horizontally into the uncovered tunnel, taking care that soil does not enter the trap or block the tunnel. The trap’s catches (metal plates at its ends) should be closed.
  3. Cover the opening with turf, a board, or a flat object so that light and air do not reach the tunnel. The signal flag should be visible above the ground surface. Its rotation signals that an animal has been caught in the trap.

Preparing the trap:

  1. Insert the lower end of the flag from the outside into the upper (larger) hole in the trap and bend it so that it extends outside through the trap’s outlet.
  2. Place the trigger tongue (a small leaf-shaped part) onto the lower end of the flag so that the plane of the flag and the tongue are parallel (in one line). Then pull the end of the flag with the attached trigger tongue back inside the trap and place its end into the lower (smaller) hole in the trap.
  3. After inserting the sleeve into the tunnel, the signal flag should be set perpendicular to the trap’s opening.
  4. When the mole enters the trap, it will push the trigger tongue inside the trap and rotate the flag parallel to the trap’s opening.
