Carrot Belgrado F1 is a mid-early Dutch variety producing very uniform, cylindrical and smooth roots with an intense orange colour. It is excellent for processing into juices, salads and other preserves, as well as for the fresh market.
The variety is characterised by a high dry matter content (10.4%), good leaf health and natural resistance to diseases such as alternaria leaf spot, downy mildew and Cercospora. It is easy to cultivate, suitable for storage and provides a stable yield at a sowing rate of 0.7–1.2 million seeds/ha.
