Navedo F1 is a Dutch carrot variety intended for professional cultivation. It produces long, cylindrical and very smooth roots with an intense orange colour and excellent flavour. Thanks to its strong, healthy tops, it is well suited for mechanical harvesting, which increases production efficiency. Resistance to downy mildew (Ar) allows cultivation in various conditions and reduces the need for chemical protection.
Navedo F1 is recommended both for processing and for the fresh market. The best results are achieved with a sowing rate of 1.2–1.8 million seeds/ha, and sowing can be carried out from April to June. This variety combines high yield, root uniformity and reliable cultivation in all conditions.
