Description
ACTION OF CROPVIT FEMO:
Cropvit FeMo fertiliser is a balanced mixture of micronutrients focused on supplying plants with key elements: iron (Fe) in an EDTA chelated form and molybdenum (Mo). Its action is aimed at eliminating deficiencies and comprehensively supporting metabolic and vital processes in plants.
Molybdenum is a central element responsible for:
- Atmospheric Nitrogen Fixation (Nitrogen fixation): Molybdenum is essential in the process of fixing nitrogen from the air. It is a necessary cofactor for nitrogen-fixing bacteria (including nodule bacteria and endophytes), enabling them to convert atmospheric nitrogen into forms available to plants.
- Nitrogen and Phosphorus Transformations: It participates in key transformations of nitrogen and phosphorus within the plant, optimising their utilisation.
- Increasing Frost Resistance: Due to its role in nitrate reduction, molybdenum increases frost resistance of plants, preparing them for harsh conditions.
Iron (in Fe EDTA form), as the second main component, performs the following functions:
-Chlorophyll Synthesis: It is part of chlorophyll, being an essential element of the photosynthesis process. This ensures the maintenance of intense green colour of leaves and efficient energy transport.
-Vitamin Production: It participates in vitamin synthesis in the plant.
