Fence 480 SC (flufenacet)
Fence 480 SC 5L is a herbicide absorbed through the roots and partially through the shoots of seedlings, affecting germinating weeds by reducing their waxy layer, which leads to their death.
Description
Fence 480 SC 5L is a herbicide absorbed through the roots and partially through the shoots of seedlings. Seedlings of weeds germinating after treatment have a reduced cuticular wax layer, depriving them of the protective waxy cover. Sensitive plants either do not germinate or the germinating seedlings turn dark green, develop abnormally and die after some time. The best results are achieved if rainfall occurs within 7 days after treatment. The effectiveness of weed control may be limited in case of prolonged drought. Good weed control depends on the removal of post-harvest residues from the previous crop and adequate soil moisture.
Sensitive weeds
- field pansy,
- broomrape,
- cleavers
Moderately sensitive weeds
- common chickweed
Active substance content: flufenacet (compound from the oxyacetamide group) – 480 g/l (40.51%)
Fence 480 SC 5L is a plant protection product intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.
