Fertiliser for blueberries and other acid-loving plants Florovit
Florovit fertiliser for blueberries and other acid-loving plants is a compound, mineral soil fertiliser in microgranule form, intended for top dressing of acid-loving plants such as blueberries.
Description
Fertiliser for blueberries and other acid-loving plants Florovit - microgranulate
- High efficiency - 1kg of fertiliser covers approximately 30m2.
- Ensures proper, healthy and rapid growth of plants, as well as abundant yields (large, tasty fruits).
- Acidifies the soil - ideal for plants requiring a low pH growing medium.
- Prevents leaf chlorosis.
- Convenient packaging: carton, bag or bucket (depending on package weight).
- Fertiliser in microgranulate form, protected against leaching into groundwater.
Florovit fertiliser for blueberries and other acid-loving plants contains a carefully selected set of nutrients (both the appropriate forms and amounts), which ensures proper growth and development of plants. It is a compound, mineral soil fertiliser intended for top dressing of blueberries in the first year after planting and in subsequent years of cultivation. Florovit fertiliser for acid-loving plants acidifies the soil, which clearly promotes the growth and development of plants requiring a low pH growing medium. It is also characterised by the absence of nitrates. Blueberries are planted in a growing medium with a pH of 3.8 - 4.8. Plants grown in a medium with too high pH show small growth increments and premature yellowing and leaf drop. The fertiliser prevents leaf chlorosis during the vegetation period. Additionally, it contains nutrient forms that move slowly in the soil, protecting them from leaching into groundwater.

|
Blueberries |
After spreading the fertiliser around the plant, gently mix it with the soil. It is also recommended to water the plants. Doses: first year after planting - three times 20 g/m2, total 60 g/year; subsequent years - three times 30-35 g/m2, total approx. 100 g/year. |
Top dressing starts in spring at the beginning of plant growth, usually mid-April. The second and third fertilisations should be carried out every four weeks. It is recommended to finish feeding by 15 June. |
|
Rhododendrons |
Applied similarly to blueberries before vegetation at planting: 25-50 g of fertiliser per plant (mixed with 25-50 l of soil from the planting hole). In subsequent years, spread under the crown in early spring: in year 1 in March approx. 20 g and in April approx. 20 g; in year 2 in March approx. 25 g and in April approx. 25 g; in later years in March approx. 30 g and in April approx. 30 g. |
Top dressing starts in spring at the beginning of plant growth, usually in March. The second fertilisation should be done in April. |
|
Azaleas and heathers |
Before vegetation, mix with the soil in which the plant is planted, approx. 10 g fertiliser per 10 l of soil. In subsequent years, in early spring (April), spread approx. 10 g of fertiliser under the crown on the soil surface and water abundantly. For larger plants (3-4 years and older), repeat fertilisation after 2-3 months with the same dose. In container cultivation, do not exceed 1 g fertiliser per litre of growing medium. |

|
Ferns and conifers |
These plants can be fertilised with Florovit for blueberries both before vegetation and as top dressing if the soil is not acidic enough - soil pH above 6. Before vegetation, spread once per plant approx. 10 g fertiliser mixed with 10-20 l soil. In subsequent years, spread once under the crown in early spring approx. 10 g fertiliser. For conifers, the top dressing dose depends on plant age: increase to 20 g when the plant reaches 0.5 m height; 40 g at 1 m height; 60 g at 2 m height. One tablespoon contains on average 10 g of fertiliser. |
