Description

FOSTAR 5L is a liquid fertiliser containing phosphorus (500 g P2O5 per 1 litre) in a form easily available to plants. Used in foliar fertiliser treatments, it quickly supplies phosphorus to plants.

FOSTAR 5L - Chemical composition:

  • Total nitrogen (N) (5%)
  • Ureic nitrogen (NH2) (5%)
  • Phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5) (35%)

FOSTAR 5L - FOLIAR FERTILISATION

Use preventively at application timings and doses recommended in fertilisation programmes for individual plant species (taking into account the plants’ phosphorus requirements at specific development stages) or interventionally when visual symptoms of phosphorus deficiency appear on plants.

Adjust the solution concentration and the amount of spray liquid to the requirements of individual plant species and spraying technique. Avoid strong sunlight, high temperature and wind causing droplet drift during treatments.

Solution preparation: Add FOSTAR to a tank filled halfway to two-thirds with water with the agitator running. Add other approved and recommended solution components similarly, according to their application instructions. Fill the tank with water to the desired volume.

FERTIGATION
FOSTAR allows balancing the nutrient solution when the required amount of phosphorus cannot be obtained using compound fertilisers or fertilisers containing a single nutrient.

The most commonly used fertiliser concentration in ready-to-use nutrient solution ranges from 0.03 – 0.2% (0.3–2 litres of fertiliser per 1000 l of solution).

When using FOSTAR in nutrient solution together with other fertilisers, do not exceed a total concentration of 0.2% of all components in the dosed nutrient solution.
