GOLDSTRIKE BEAN - VARIETY FEATURES:
intended use: fresh market, processing
growing period: approximately 73 days
Goldstrike bean is a very early string bean variety with intensely yellow pods, suitable for both open field and protected cultivation. It enters yield quickly and is distinguished by vigorous growth, allowing for an early and reliable harvest.
The pods are straight, smooth, 14–15 cm long, completely free of fibre, which ensures excellent eating quality. The intense yellow colour lasts long after harvest, increasing commercial appeal both on the fresh market and in the processing industry.
The variety is characterised by high yield potential, very good health, and tolerance to more challenging growing conditions. Goldstrike tolerates both hand and mechanical harvesting well, and the harvested pods retain freshness and firmness.
