- Acidifies the soil.
Fructus Iglak and other acid-loving plants is a compound granulated fertiliser with low chloride content. It is intended for fertilising coniferous plants preferring acidic soil. It is perfectly suited for use with plant groups such as: spruces, pines, firs, thuja (arborvitae), junipers, douglas firs, yews, cypresses, larches, heathers, heaths, as well as rhododendrons and azaleas. The fertiliser composition, as well as the proportions of macro and micronutrients, are tailored to the needs of this plant group, ensuring their proper growth and development and suitable overwintering. The iron and magnesium contained in the fertiliser guarantee beautiful, vibrant, full colouring of plants. The granule form and appropriate nutrient composition cause them to be released gradually, providing a long-lasting effect. Using the fertiliser prevents needle browning.
COMPOSITION OF FRUCTUS CONIFER FERTILISER:
Fertiliser type: NPK (Ca, Mg, S) 5 : 6 : 10 (2 : 5 : 25) with boron (B), copper (Cu), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), molybdenum (Mo), zinc (Zn).
Macronutrients:
- total nitrogen (N): 5 % in ammonium form,
- phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5): 6 % soluble in neutral ammonium citrate solution and water,
- phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5): min. 2.5 % soluble in water,
- potassium oxide (K2O): 10 % soluble in water in sulphate form,
- calcium oxide (CaO): 2 % soluble in water,
- magnesium oxide (MgO): 5 % total,
- sulphur trioxide (SO3): min. 25 % total.
Micronutrients:
- boron (B): 0.01 % total in boric acid form,
- copper (Cu): 0.01 % total in sulphate form,
- iron (Fe): 2.0 % total in sulphate form,
- manganese (Mn): 0.1 % total in sulphate form,
- molybdenum (Mo): 0.001 % total in ammonium salt form,
- zinc (Zn): 0.01 % total in sulphate form.
WHEN AND HOW TO APPLY THE FERTILISER FOR CONIFERS?:
Fructus Iglak should be spread in a radius slightly exceeding the outline of the tree or shrub crown. After sowing, if possible, the fertiliser should be lightly mixed with the topsoil layer and then watered abundantly. It is best to fertilise plants 2-3 times during the growing season, with the last fertilisation applied no later than the end of August. The fertiliser dose depends on the age and size of the tree or shrub. Older plants over 1 m in height can be fertilised once during the growing season, preferably in early spring.
Possible application:
- March, September.
Recommended application timing:
- April, May, June, July, August.
