LaDiva (halauxifen-methyl, picloram, aminopyralid) Corteva - herbicide
LaDiva is a selective systemic herbicide, applied foliarly in the cultivation of winter oilseed rape. The product is in the form of a concentrate for preparing a water emulsion and controls dicotyledonous weeds.
Description
LaDiva – Post-emergence herbicide for oilseed rape
LaDiva is a modern herbicide designed for effective control of dicotyledonous weeds in winter oilseed rape. Thanks to the presence of three active substances, including the innovative Arylex active, the product guarantees a broad spectrum of action without the need to mix with other herbicides. It is an ideal solution for professionals in the horticultural and orchard sector who value effectiveness, ease of use, and flexibility under variable conditions.
Benefits of using LaDiva herbicide:
- Comprehensive product for dicotyledonous weeds in winter oilseed rape for autumn application.
- No need to mix with other herbicides.
- Effectively controls key weeds, including: cleavers, corn poppy, cornflower, dead-nettles, shepherd's purse, and chickweed.
- Eliminates resistant weeds, including biotypes resistant to sulfonylureas.
- Ideal for use in both plough and no-till cultivation.
- Resistant to changing weather conditions – effective even during drought or excessive rainfall.
- Low, effective dose: 0.25 l/ha.
- Wide application window – can be used from the 2 to 9 leaf stage of oilseed rape (BBCH 12-19).
- Hassle-free crop rotation – in autumn, cereals, mustard, winter oilseed rape, and grasses can be grown; in spring (after 18 months), all crops.
- Favourable toxicological and environmental profile.
- Contains three active substances with different modes of action – for improved efficacy.
LaDiva – mode of action:
LaDiva is a selective systemic herbicide, applied foliarly as a concentrate for preparing a water emulsion (EC). The product contains three active substances with different modes of action:
- Halauxifen-methyl (Arylex™ active) – a compound from the arylpicolinate group, acting as a growth regulator (synthetic auxin). It causes deformation of leaves and stems, leading to their death.
- Picloram – acts systemically, moving within the plant and effectively eliminating weeds by disrupting growth processes.
- Aminopyralid – a systemic substance that inhibits weed development by disrupting metabolic processes.
How does LaDiva herbicide work?
After foliar application, the product is rapidly absorbed by the leaves and cotyledons of weeds, causing:
- Inhibition of growth of unwanted plants.
- Deformation of leaves and stems, leading to chlorosis and necrosis.
- Complete weed death within several days to weeks, depending on the species.
Application of LaDiva herbicide:
- Timing: Autumn, from the 2 to 9 true leaf stage of oilseed rape (BBCH 12-19).
- Optimal stage: 2–4 true leaves (BBCH 12-14) – ensures highest efficacy.
- Dose: 0.25 l/ha.
- Water volume: 100–300 l/ha.
- Spraying: Medium droplet size.
- Maximum number of treatments per season: 1.
LaDiva herbicide - crop rotation:
- Autumn: cereals, winter oilseed rape, mustard, grasses.
- Spring (after 18 months): all crops.
Summary:
LaDiva is an innovative post-emergence herbicide that provides high efficacy in controlling dicotyledonous weeds in winter oilseed rape, regardless of weather conditions or cultivation system. Thanks to its unique composition, low dose, and application flexibility, LaDiva is a reliable choice for professional growers.
