Description

Lisere 600 EC is a selective herbicide with systemic action, intended for soil or foliar application in the cultivation of maize and winter oilseed rape. It contains petoxamid (600 g/l) – an active substance from the chloroacetamide group (HRAC 15), which effectively inhibits cell division and lipid biosynthesis in germinating weeds, preventing their development. The preparation is absorbed by the roots and hypocotyl of germinating weeds, ensuring rapid and effective control, especially at the earliest growth stages.

Why choose Lisere 600 EC?

  • ✅ Effective soil action – prevents weed emergence

  • ✅ Eliminates a wide spectrum of weeds in maize and oilseed rape

  • ✅ Acts already at the weed germination stage – protection during the critical phase

  • ✅ Long-lasting effect – presence of active substance in the soil for several weeks

  • ✅ Can be mixed with other herbicides (e.g. Reactor 360 CS)

Application in maize

Lisere 600 EC works best after sowing, before maize emergence or immediately after emergence – up to the 4-leaf stage of the crop (BBCH 00–14). It provides long-lasting action due to the presence of the active substance in the soil for several weeks after application.

✅ Sensitive weeds:
common chickweed, small geranium, annual grass, field mustard, purple dead-nettle, knotgrass, Persian speedwell, black nightshade, pale persicaria, rough pigweed, scentless chamomile, shepherd's purse, field pennycress, globe spurge

✅ Moderately sensitive weeds:
fumitory, field violet, common chickweed, white goosefoot, cleavers, climbing buckwheat

Application in winter oilseed rape

Lisere 600 EC is applied in autumn, before oilseed rape emergence and before weed emergence or immediately after their germination. It can be used alone or in mixture with Reactor 360 CS, which expands the spectrum of controlled weeds.

✅ Sensitive weeds:
blackgrass, common chickweed

✅ Moderately sensitive weeds:
white goosefoot, field pennycress

✅ Resistant weeds:
cleavers, field violet

Additional practical information

  • Use exclusively with field sprayers (tractor-mounted or self-propelled)

  • Spraying is best performed under appropriate soil moisture conditions

  • Do not apply to plants weakened by frost, drought or diseases

  • Maintain a buffer zone: 20 m from water reservoirs and watercourses

Summary

Lisere 600 EC is a reliable herbicide for use in maize and winter oilseed rape, controlling many troublesome weeds already at the germination stage. It provides long-lasting crop protection thanks to effective soil action and is an important element of weed control programmes in field crops. An excellent choice for farmers seeking a reliable and straightforward plant protection solution.
