Onion Saddleback F1 is a very early variety of the American type, distinguished by a high proportion of bulbs in the 60+ calibre. It has a strong root system that effectively reduces the effects of stress caused by drought or high temperatures. The plants have uniform growth and strong, characteristic green tops, which facilitate care and harvesting.
The bulbs are covered with a well-adhering, light brown skin, which ensures an attractive appearance and good post-harvest durability. Sowing is recommended at the beginning of April, and harvesting can begin as early as mid-August under favourable weather conditions.
