Description
Superon onion seeds
A long-day onion variety, quickly reaching harvest maturity and being very early ready for harvest.
Sowing is possible as soon as field conditions allow. This variety shows resistance to spring frosts, rapidly develops a strong root system, and is characterised by a robust plant habit, allowing it to adapt to various cultivation conditions.
Superon onions are large and heavy, achieving a yield of around 70-80 tonnes with irrigation.
Thanks to their delicate neck, they dry easily and quickly, and their shiny brown skin makes them ideal for "bag" packing. Onion harvesting can begin as early as July (if harvested in bunches).
This variety is excellent for peeling, being the first for sowing and harvesting.
