Description
Pinivit is a concentrated, compound liquid fertiliser fully soluble in water, designed for foliar fertilisation of coniferous plants. It contains essential macro- and micronutrients combined in proportions that ensure harmonious growth and development of coniferous plants. Thanks to Pinivit, plants achieve significantly greater increments, obtain a more attractive needle colouration and improved health, and are also more resistant to all kinds of stresses.
Application method:
Pinivit is applied by spraying the plants (needles) using plant protection equipment, employing fine spraying to ensure even fertiliser application. Spraying Pinivit over larger forest areas is carried out using aerial application (airplane, helicopter). The concentration of the working solution depends on the species and age of the plants and usually ranges from 2 - 5%. The optimal concentration for young (2 - 3 weeks) spruce, pine and larch plants is 1:30 - 1:35. For older plants, the concentration can be increased using a 1:20 - 1:25 solution. For fir and Douglas fir, a lower concentration solution is used, i.e. 1:40 - 1:50. Pinivit should not be applied on sunny days with temperatures above 20°C. It should be used within 7 - 10 days from the start of vegetation, but no later than the end of June due to the need for lignification of increments before winter. In case of needle yellowing caused by a deficiency of an unidentified nutrient, plants can be sprayed at a later application timing. Pinivit is non-toxic to humans, animals and insects. When combining Pinivit with plant protection products, a phytotoxicity test should be conducted.
