Late variety excellent for winter storage, also winter-hardy in the ground. The pseudostem is cylindrical, medium thick and medium long. Sow in March under cover. Transplant to the ground in May with spacing of 30-50 x 15-20 cm depending on the cultivation method. Plant directly into the ground at the beginning of April in rows as above. Requires fertile, humus-rich, water-retentive, deeply cultivated soil.
