Description
ACTION OF PREV-AM:
PREV-AM is a natural product with universal application, combining fungicidal, insecticidal and acaricidal properties. The preparation is in the form of a ready-to-use microemulsion (ME) with contact action, ensuring a fast and visible effect.
This innovative preparation is an excellent solution for those seeking a broad spectrum of action with minimal environmental impact. Thanks to the short, 1-day pre-harvest interval and absence of residues, PREV-AM is ideal for use in integrated crop production and organic farming.
Insecticidal and acaricidal action:
PREV-AM, based on orange oil, penetrates the outer layer of soft-bodied pests (such as whiteflies, thrips, leafhoppers, mealybugs). This causes their dehydration and death. In winged insects, it also damages the wings, preventing flight. It is effective against adults, juvenile stages, and sometimes eggs (e.g. spider mites).
Fungicidal action:
Orange oil dries out the cell walls of fungal mycelium and spores of pathogens developing on the plant surface (e.g. powdery mildew, grey mould). For pathogens penetrating deeper into tissues (e.g. downy mildew), it shows effectiveness in the early infection phase.
Advantages of using Prev-AM:
- Broad spectrum of action: Effectively controls insects, mites and fungal diseases.
- Short pre-harvest interval (1 day): Allows safe harvesting of fruits and vegetables shortly after application.
- Fast action: Visible results in a short time.
- No residues: Clean final product.
- Compatibility: Can be used alone or in tank mixes with most other plant protection products and fertilisers.
- Does not require adjuvants: The product has very good wetting and adhesion properties.
- Compliance with ECOSCHEMES: Can be used within "Integrated crop production" and organic plant protection.
CONTENT OF PREV-AM SUBSTANCE:
orange oil (a compound from the essential oils group) – 60 g/l (6.0 %)
APPLICATION SCOPE, TIMING AND DOSES OF PREV-AM:
The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field, orchard and hand sprayers.
Dosage of Prev-AM:
ALONE (low risk): In case of low pest/disease pressure, the recommended concentration is 400 ml/100 l water (0.4%). This is the minimum concentration to inhibit pathogen development.
ALONE or in MIXTURE (medium risk): At pest/disease development level, 300-400 ml/100 l water (0.3-0.4%) in mixture with biological or chemical agents, especially those with certain restrictions (e.g. resistance risk, no "knock-down" effect).
Only in MIXTURE (very high risk): In case of very high pest/disease pressure, use 250-300 ml/100 l water (0.25-0.3%). The product increases the effectiveness of the agents used in the mixture.
