Samba is a late root parsley variety, valued for its yield stability and very high commercial value of the roots. The plant produces roots with a regular, conical shape and length of 22-23 cm. The skin of this variety is pure white, smooth and characterised by a complete lack of rust, which makes the roots exceptionally attractive on the fresh market and easy to process industrially.
The interior of Samba parsley is filled with dense, white flesh with high aromatic and flavour qualities. This variety prefers sunny locations and sandy-loam soils that are fertile and retain water well, allowing full utilisation of its growth potential. Thanks to the excellent root structure, Samba is a versatile variety – ideal for direct consumption, freezing and drying, as well as for very long winter storage without loss of firmness.
The recommended planting spacing is 20x50 cm
