Description
Sempra 500 SC: is a selective contact herbicide, a concentrate in the form of a concentrated suspension for dilution with water, used foliar and soil application, intended for control of dicotyledonous weeds in winter wheat, winter barley, winter rye and spring barley crops.
The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.
Active substance content:
diflufenican (compound from the phenoxynicotinanilide group) – 500 g/l (41.55%)
Effect on weeds:
The product is absorbed mainly through leaves and partially through roots of weeds. Sensitive weeds germinate but quickly become discoloured. Discolouration in the form of yellow, white and/or pink spots spreads, causing weed death.
Weed sensitivity in spring barley
- Sensitive weeds: common chickweed, purple dead-nettle, field speedwell, black nightshade, knotgrass and finally common ragwort.
Weed sensitivity in winter cereals:
- Sensitive weeds: common chickweed, purple dead-nettle, scentless chamomile, shepherd's purse, Persian speedwell.
- Moderately sensitive weeds: ivy-leaved speedwell and knotgrass.
