Micronutrient
Micronutrient fertilisers are preparations designed to supplement micronutrient deficiencies in crops such as apple tree, maize, cucumber, sweet pepper, tomato, oilseed rape, strawberry and potato. Mainly used in agriculture, horticulture and vegetable growing, they support proper plant development and prevent deficiency symptoms such as chlorosis.
About the Micronutrient category
This category includes fertilisers containing micronutrients such as boron (B), copper (in the form of copper(II) hydroxide and copper trihydroxychloride) and titanium (Ti). These products are available as single fertilisers or micronutrient blends, as well as liquid fertilisers. Examples include Amino Ultra Zinc Zn-24 Intermag and Amino Ultra Zinc–boron.
The Chelates subcategory includes fertilisers in which micronutrients are present in chelated form, facilitating their uptake by plants. The offer includes products from brands such as ASX, Colchem, FMC, GROGREEN, INSOL and Intermag. Micronutrient fertilisers are also used in tree and shrub nurseries and on lawns, where they help reduce the occurrence of chlorosis and moss.
