Description
Beloukha 680 EC is a herbicide used in the programme for the destruction of weeds and root suckers in fruit trees.
Active substance content: nonanoic acid (a compound from the carboxylic acids group) – 680 g/l (71.7%)
Beloukha 680 EC – Application
The product is produced as a concentrate from which an aqueous emulsion is prepared. Sunny, warm weather accelerates the effect of the product and increases its effectiveness. It is also used in the potato desiccation programme and does not migrate to potato tubers.
Beloukha 680 EC – Mode of action
The product acts as a contact, non-selective herbicide. It is a contact herbicide that does not translocate within the plant. It contains pelargonic acid (nonanoic acid), derived from natural extraction of oilseed rape oil.
It has no toxic properties, safe for animals and the natural environment.
When applied to green parts of plants, the active substance causes rapid dehydration of plant tissues, thereby inhibiting photosynthesis and other physiological processes related to membrane function, resulting in drying of the affected plant part.
The product is characterised by a very rapid effect, visible within a few hours of application, and rapid degradation in the natural environment.
