Hypoo F1 is a mid-late cabbage variety with a vegetation period of 80–90 days. The heads weigh 2–3.5 kg and are characterised by deep spacing and a very attractive green-blue colour. The variety is very uniform, and the heads can remain in the field for a long time without the risk of cracking or rotting. Harvest takes place in summer and autumn, and with summer planting the plant slowly bolts.
Hypoo F1 shows resistance to Fusarium fungi, which can cause leaf yellowing and damage to vascular bundles. The disease develops mainly on warm, dry days and may appear at the end of the vegetation period or during prolonged storage of the heads.
The recommended sowing rate is 50,000 seeds/ha.
