ACTION OF CUADRO 250EC:
Cuadro 250 EC is a growth regulator in the form of a concentrate for preparing an aqueous emulsion. The product is used to prevent lodging of cereals grown under intensive technologies with a high level of nitrogen fertilisation. The product is mainly absorbed through the leaves and stems of plants and then transported to meristematic tissues, preventing excessive elongation of internodes without causing a reduction in root length or plant mass. Shortening and stiffening of cereal stems prevents lodging of the crop stand.
The intensity of the product's action depends on the developmental stage of the crop plant, variety, site, and weather conditions. The strongest shortening affects internodes that elongate intensively during the period of product application. Genetically tall varieties respond to the product's action with stronger shortening of internodes.

Recommended dose for single application: 0.4 l/ha.
Application timing: Apply the product from the beginning of stem elongation phase (start of stem growth) to the flag leaf stage (flag leaf fully developed) (BBCH 30–39).
Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.
Winter barley
Maximum dose for single application: 0.6 l/ha.
Recommended dose for single application: 0.6 l/ha.
Application timing: Apply the product from the visible flag leaf stage to the flag leaf stage (flag leaf fully developed) (BBCH 37–39).

Winter triticale
Maximum dose for single application: 0.6 l/ha.
