Ephon Top is a growth and development regulator in the form of a water-soluble concentrate (SL). Used as a product preventing lodging of crops grown in good locations or fertilised with high doses of nitrogen. The product causes shortening and stiffening of cereal stems, which prevents lodging of the crop and facilitates harvesting. The intensity of the product's effect depends on the application timing, the developmental stage of the crop plant, crop density, location and weather conditions. The best effect is achieved on crops at the stage of intensive growth.
The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.
Growth and development regulator Ephon Top Nufarm - active substance content:

Growth regulator Mentor Sharda - preparation of spray liquid:
Prepare the spray liquid immediately before use. Before preparing the spray liquid, accurately determine the required volume and amount of product. When filling the sprayer, follow the sprayer manufacturer's instructions. If no instructions are available, add the measured amount of product to the sprayer tank partially filled with water (with the agitator on). Rinse empty containers three times with water and pour the rinsate into the sprayer tank with the spray liquid, top up with water to the required volume and mix thoroughly. After adding the product to a sprayer tank without a hydraulic agitator, mix the liquid mechanically. In case of breaks during spraying, mix the spray liquid thoroughly before resuming work.
Plant protection product Mentor Sharda - usage guidelines:
- The product can be used with a reduced spray liquid volume down to 100 l/ha, but appropriate nozzles ensuring fine droplet spraying must be used.
- The product is not intended for use on cereal seed production plantations.
- Stress factors negatively affect cereal growth and may lead to secondary tillering and formation of shrivelled grains. Use of the product under such conditions may intensify these symptoms, especially in spring barley.
- Do not use the product:
- within 10 days after herbicide treatment or foliar fertilisation,
- from the cereal heading stage,
- 4-5 hours before expected rain and on wet plants,
- at temperatures below 10°C and before expected frosts,
- on heavily weed-infested plantations, damaged by diseases, pests, stressed after herbicide treatment or due to nutrient deficiency,
- when cereal plants are stressed due to water deficiency. - During application, avoid:
- drift of spray liquid onto neighbouring crops,
- overlapping spray liquid on treatment strip edges and headlands. - Keep out of reach of children.
- Store the plant protection product:
- in original packaging,
- in a way preventing contact with food, beverages or feed, environmental contamination and access by unauthorised persons,
- at temperatures between 0°C and 30°C.
