Flordimex 480 SL: is a plant protection product from the group of growth regulators. It is intended to accelerate the ripening of outdoor tomatoes, facilitate the mechanical harvesting of sour cherries, accelerate harvesting and improve the colouring of apple trees.
Content of active substance:
ethephon - (a compound from the group of phosphonic acid derivatives) - 480 g/l
The product is intended for use with orchard sprayers and field sprayers.

- The substance penetrates plant tissue, decomposing to release ethylene which causes acceleration of the respiration and ripening process of fruits.
Flordimex 480 SL – Application
- The product applied to tomato plants at a higher dose may cause accelerated leaf senescence (without affecting yield).
- Too early spraying of apple trees risks obtaining undersized apples.
- Delaying harvest risks the dropping of a large number of fruits.
- Apply the product up to 4-5 hours before expected rain.

Recommended dose: 2.5-3.5 l/ha. Recommended water volume: 300-600 l/ha. |
Use the higher recommended dose at temperatures below 16oC and on plants with a large leaf mass. Spray the entire plants thoroughly. Apply as a single application when ripe and ripening fruits, i.e. red, pink and blushed, constitute 5-15%, and green (grown) fruits 50-65% of the total fruits on the plants. |
