ACTION OF HIPERKAN 500 SC:

Hiperkan 500 SC is a professional, selective herbicide designed for effective control of mono- and dicotyledonous weeds, especially in oilseed rape cultivation. Due to its systemic action, this product can be applied both soil-applied and foliar. The concentrate in the form of a suspo-emulsion (SC) ensures ease of preparation of the working solution.

The active substance, metazachlor, is absorbed through the roots and hypocotyl of weeds, where it blocks fatty acid biosynthesis. This effective action leads to inhibition of weed germination, resulting in strong limitation of their growth and development, ultimately causing their death. The highest effectiveness is achieved by applying Hiperkan 500 SC in the pre-emergence phase or post-emergence but before the weeds develop their first pair of leaves.

HIPERKAN 500 SC SCOPE OF USE, TIMING AND DOSES:

Hiperkan 500 SC - action on weeds:

Use in mixture with Chlomazon 360 CS or Hadar 360 CS or Marqis 360 CS:

Sensitive weeds: common geranium, chickweed, sea mayweed, cleavers, shepherd's purse.

Moderately sensitive weeds: field violet.

Use of Hiperkan 500 SC alone:

Sensitive weeds: common geranium, chickweed, sea mayweed.

Moderately sensitive weeds: cleavers, volunteer cereals, shepherd's purse.

Resistant weeds: field violet.

 

How to apply Hiperkan 500 SC:

The product is intended for spraying using self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.

Winter oilseed rape

Application timing:

a) In autumn, immediately after sowing but before oilseed rape emergence (BBCH 00-05). To increase effectiveness, the product can be used in mixture with adjuvants:

Maximum / recommended dose for single application:

• Hiperkan 500 SC 1.5 l/ha + Chlomazon 360 CS 0.25 l/ha,
• Hiperkan 500 SC 1.5 l/ha + Marqis 360 CS 0.25 l/ha,
• Hiperkan 500 SC 1.5 l/ha + Hadar 360 CS 0.25 l/ha

b) In autumn, post-emergence, when oilseed rape plants have at least one pair of leaves (BBCH 11-12), and weeds are at cotyledon to 2-leaf stage (cleavers at cotyledon stage).

Maximum / recommended dose for single application: 2.0 l/ha.

Recommended water volume: 200-300 l/ha.

Recommended spraying: medium droplet size.

Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.
