DARK KNIGHT LETTUCE - VARIETY FEATURES:
Dark Knight F1 is a mid-early butterhead lettuce variety that performs excellently in both spring and autumn cultivation. Thanks to full resistance to downy mildew (Bl 16–36), aphid Nasonovia ribisnigri No:0 and LMV1 (IR), it is a reliable and safe solution for growers, including in organic farming.
The heads of this variety are uniform, round, slightly flattened, with a flat bottom and no distinct ribbing. They reach a weight of 0.6 to 1 kg, and due to moderately fast growth, are suitable for planting from April to the end of July.
Dark Knight F1 stands out with lower susceptibility to leaf edge drying and resistance to bolting, making it especially valued during hot summer months – when other varieties often fail.
It is the ideal choice for the fresh market: the lettuce is easy to harvest, cut and pack, and its high quality and health guarantee satisfaction for producers and consumers.
