MODE OF ACTION OF MEPIK 300 SL:

MEPIK 300 SL is a highly effective plant growth regulator, distinguished by its rapid and deep systemic action. After spraying, the active substance (mepiquat chloride) immediately penetrates through the leaves and circulates inside the plant, precisely inhibiting the biosynthesis of gibberellins – hormones responsible for cell elongation. As a result, the plant's energy is redirected from intensive main shoot growth to thickening and stiffening of the stem cell walls and root system development.

Thanks to this mechanism, the crop becomes significantly shorter, more compact and extremely resistant to lodging caused by strong winds or heavy rains. In the case of winter oilseed rape, autumn application optimally shapes the rosette and prepares the plant for harsh winter conditions, while spring treatment perfectly evens out the crop. Additionally, MEPIK 300 SL is an ideal component for tank mixes with triazoles, allowing simultaneous growth regulation and strong fungicidal protection.

Winter wheat

Maximum / recommended dose:	0.8 - 1.3 l/ha (Maximum: 1.3 l/ha)
Application timing:	From stem elongation to the appearance of the first awns (BBCH 30-49). For maximum effect, treatment is recommended up to BBCH 39.

Recommended water volume:	200-300 l/ha

Winter triticale

Target pests:	Reduction of plant height and lodging control (growth regulator)
Maximum / recommended dose:	0.8 - 1.0 l/ha (Maximum: 1.0 l/ha)
Application timing:	From stem elongation to the appearance of the first awns (BBCH 30-49). For maximum effect, treatment is recommended up to BBCH 39.

Winter oilseed rape (Solo use)

Application timing:	Autumn: from 2nd to 6th leaf stage (BBCH 12-16). Spring: from beginning of stem elongation to visible 5th internode (BBCH 30-35).

Application timing:	Single spring treatment: At stem elongation to visible 5 internodes (BBCH 30-35). Double treatment Autumn+Spring: Autumn: from 2nd to 8th leaf (BBCH 12-18, preferably 14-16). Spring: from beginning of stem elongation to visible 9 internodes (BBCH 30-39).
