Onion Crockett F1 is an exceptionally high-yielding variety of the American-Spanish type, which performs excellently in long-term storage. It produces large, uniform onions with a strong and dark skin, making them very attractive and durable even after many months of storage. The plants are characterised by a strong root system, which translates into stable growth and high health throughout the entire season.
The best sowing time is between 10 and 24 April, while harvesting can be carried out from 15 to 31 August. Onions Crockett F1 are ideal for storage from 1 September until the end of March, retaining their flavour and quality. They contain about 9.8% dry matter, and the recommended seeding rate is 0.75–1 million seeds per hectare.
